The Island House Garden is tucked into the existing hardwood hammock of Jupiter Island. Improvements include the addition of a guest house, bocce court, and expanded landscape plantings. We arranged the garden to cohesively fit these new site elements within the surrounding context. In addition, we augmented the landscape palette with plants that incorporate the client’s favorite color - coral. Bouquets of coral colored plants are arranged carefully throughout the garden to provide balance and harmony to the space. These splashes of color blend seamlessly with the surrounding tropical woods background. The garden lawn orients views along the central axis of the site and ends on the dominant Kapok Tree. The Kapok Tree is a treasured species due to its extraordinary scale, attractive trunk, and flowers. This exceptional tree imparts a sense of legacy to the property that transcends generations.
